- wan Avenue Centre
Day and Time: Friday 9:45 - 10:30 am Instructor fee: $1.00 (fee includes all Friday morning dance classes) Location: Edward Street Centre Day and Time: Tuesday 1:45 - 2:30 pm Instructor fee: $2.00 Develop your hidden talents and learn new and exciting steps in this progression from beginner line dance. Intermediate participants are encouraged to warm up with the beginner class.
- WALKABOUTS
Location: Various locations Day and Time: Monday 9:45 am Additional Cost: Pay for your own lunch Join us for this fun walking program. Each week, this group meets at the Edward Street Centre and carpools to various hiking and lunch destinations. A great way to get in shape, have fun and see our wonderful city! Please refer to the Monthly Highlights flyer for a schedule of destinations.
- WELCOME CLUB
Location: McEwan Avenue Centre and Edward Street Centre Day and Time: Varies; Participants will be invited by phone As its name suggests, the welcome club is an initiative to ensure that new members receive proper orientation through a follow-up phone call, an introduction to programs and a complimentary reception. This system helps new members become familiar with the programs, services and staff at the Centres and gives them an opportunity to meet new members.
- WOMEN ON WEIGHTSóINTRODUCTION
Location: Edward Street Centre Day and Time: Wednesday 12:00ó1:00 pm AND Friday 10:00-11:00 am Dates: April 6 ń June 29, 2005 Registration Deadline: April 5, 2005 Cost: FREE for members, $125 for non-members Women over 50 can enjoy the benefits of strength training in this class. Improve your strength, endurance and muscle tone with light weights and resistance bands. Pre-registration is required and space is limited.

- WOMEN ON WEIGHTS AND MORE
Location: McEwan Avenue Centre Day and Time: Wednesday and Friday 1:00ó3:00 pm Not only define and tone muscles, but redefine and tune-up your whole body through a total body experience. This program implements a rich variety of breathing, stretching and movement techniques that enhance fluidity, flexibility and range of motion. Use a variety of resistance training methods such as free weights, dyna-bands, balls, bars and your own body weight to develop strength, control, stamina and focus. Regular membership policy applies.
