The Benefits of Membership There are several great reasons to become a member of the Centres for Seniors Windsor: Membership entitles you to participate in any program at either of the two Centres. Membership entitles you to a parking permit and reduced rates on programs and services. $5 day passes are not required if you are a Centres Member. Membership connects you with vibrant, active Centres with a warm and friendly atmosphere. All Centre's members will receive a parking permit upon purchasing their membership. The permit must be in a visible spot (rearview mirror). The parking permit provides access to the lots associated with either Centre. Becoming a Member Membership can be taken out at anytime throughout the year. It is as simple as: Visiting either of the centres at any time of the year Completing a membership application form at the office Paying your membership fee. Annual membership from January to December is $90 per person. There is a discounted rate of $150 for married couples. Payments may be made in instalments through January, February and March. Effective July 1, for the remainder of 2010, pro-rated membership dues are $10.00 per month. Renewing Your Membership Membership renewal is due in January and can be completed at either of our Centres. Drop off cash or a cheque — payable to Centres for Seniors Windsor — at either location. Payment may also be made by MC or VISA. The Membership fee for 2010 is $90 per person. There is a discounted rate of $150 for married couples. A new feature in 2010 - membership fees may be paid in 3 instalments in January, February and March. The Member's Council Each year an election is held for Members' Council. There are 12 representatives on Members' Council who act as the voice for the members at large. Nominations take place throughout October and November. The election is held throughout December and January. Members' Council meets on the 1st Tuesday of every month. The General Meeting of the Membership is held each January. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet the staff and newly elected Members' Council. Members or users of the Centres are encouraged to voice their appreciation or suggestions in written form and drop it off in the Members' Council Suggestion Box located at either Centre.
