Latest News Windsor Elvis Fest The Windsor Elvis Fest is happening in Windsor on June 22, 23 & 24, 2012 at Roseland Golf and Curling Club, featuring the Elvis Tribute Artists from throughout North America, the Hunka Hunka (burning love) Headliners show and the Cruisin' Classic Car show. Details, as they become available, will be on the official website for the Windsor Elvis Fest. Better Living Body and Mind Our annual healthy living conference for older adults is set for Thursday, June 7th from 9 am to 3 pm. It features more than 20 workshops on topics from gardening to exercise and wellness tips, and lunch with keynote speaker Beth Anne Ternovan. Seats are limited, and pre-registration is required. Fee is $15. Registration forms available at both sites or by calling 519-254-1108. Zoom Up Forum Plan to attend the Zoomers in Motion event on May 30th. For more information, contact Marg Bryant at 519-254-1108, and here's the Registration information Pasta Fundraiser Join us at Legion Branch 255 on Sun, June 10th for our Pasta Fundraiser in support of our transportation service for seniors. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under. Entertainment by "Elvis and Friends". The event runs from 2 to 6 pm. Tickets are available at the Legion or at our McEwan site - 635 McEwan (Campbell and Wyandotte St W). Call 519-254-1108 to reserve your seats. 3rd Annual Golf Tournament Our annual golf tourney is set for Sat, Aug 11th at Fox Glen Golf Club. The $110 entry fee includes 4 different putting contests, a cart for travelling about the 18-hole golf course, plus dinner. Registration begins at noon, followed at 1 pm with a shotgun start. Among the most popular summer golf tournaments, tickets will be on sale soon. Call 519-254-1108 for details. Monthly Pasta Nights Centres for Seniors Windsor is proud to be one of the 12 charities selected for the 2012 Caboto club Charities Together monthly pasta night events. So come out the 1st Wednesday of every month from 4:30-7:30 pm to enjoy a great meal while supporting local charities. CFSW will be hosting the October 3rd event.
